The young pup let out a soft whimper and nuzzled closer to his protector. "I don't like the storm." He whined. His tiny paws reached out and clung to the fluffy gray and green tail of Zigitius. "I'm scared... When is mommy coming back?"

The older Sears glanced at Sparticus for a moment before letting out a soft sigh. "I don't know," he lied. "But I'm certain we will find her again soon."

Yay, background info on Zigitius and Sparticus! I've mentioned before they're partners in crime. Zigitius is quite a bit older than Sparticus, though. In this scene, Zigitius is a young adult now taking care of Sparticus. Poor little guy. :c
Writing is not my strong point. But I wanted to add that little story to kind of give some more information on their backgrounds. We will find out more in the near future. :D
