My friend Searchie's fursona, wearing Senketsu, from the series Kill la Kill, wielding an Ak-47 Redline from the game Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Fully 3d version online at http://widget3dmodelling.com/SEARCHDOG.html
It's really neat, it's actually all javascript embedded into an html file. All you have to do is host the html file and it works! I upload it to a domain I purchased from ehosts. I could host them on google drive but this year they're discontinuing the access protocol that needs to be used, so I wanted something more long-term/reliable.
looks cool. I'm interested in different ways of sharing 3D content online. I've tried sketchfab a bit & they have a nice VR app and OEmbed support (weasyl supports it as a multimedia submission type). But some people don't seem interested in using it so I wonder about alternatives.
Oh? I'll have to look into sketchfab! I'm really interested in finding ways that I can embed content without requiring a hotlink. Blend4web (the solution I use) is VERY powerful and pretty lightweight (I haven't even begun to tap its full potential) but on websites like this one or tumblr where only 'supported' content can be embedded, it leaves an uninspiring silhouette in the form of a url.

you host that model viewer yourself?
