In the Spring of 2017, I was dumping out the compost in the night while interning over at a farm when I saw some other interns doing some fire spinning. I thought it was the coolest thing ever and thought to check it out. I think they were a little drunk at the moment, but they really did look like they are having fun and invited me to join the spectacle.

After the person spinning got tired, I was offered the stick. I did, and put on a hoodie so that my hair would not catch on fire, and decided to put my limited kung fu skills to use and do some spinning stick tricks. I had a good time and it was certainly a very unique experience.
