For a contest over at TLKFAA! The prompt was to take the characters and a scene and reimagine it if the characters were of a different species, preferably that of a fantasy world!

... So I chose the boring way out and did Simba and Nala as dragon hatchlings, and did my rendition of my favorite scene from when I was a child: The scene where Simba and Nala are cornered in the elephant graveyard. Obviously, two little pudgy hatchlings, dragon or not, are very vulnerable to predators, and as brave as they are, even these two whelps are hardly a match for their pursuers! But Simba isn't about to let these three monsters get the better of them; He's going to give them his best roar and hottest flame to scare them off!.... Or, at least, he'll try. All he can do are tiny embers and a bit of smoke. That's okay, Simba, you did great, better luck next time.
