I commissioned another Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg themed commission for Easter. It's the third such piece I've gotten for the last four Easters, which is kinda impressive since I've never played the game.

That said, I revisited a similar idea I commissioned in 2021 (which you can see here), and I wanted it to be more faithful to the original game and fit in better with the type of art I commission nowadays, hence no rubbery egg or Pokémon.

I'll go ahead and admit that I had a vague memory of the game when commissioning the first Billy Hatcher Easter commission, hence why the egg in that piece didn't look a whole lot like the one here. I have a tendency to back out looking up things that interest me out of a fear of shame of embarrassment, and it's a pretty serious issue that prevents me from researching them for commissions or just enjoying them, so it's something I really need to resolve.
