I originally commissioned this Gravity Falls inspired piece for Halloween in 2022, as well as the show's 10th anniversary and the annual Octransfur event (which is actually more of a 31 day drawing challenge a la Inktober, but I digress). My original plan was to have Mabel's red panda form and Otto's sea monster form a one off for a Halloween themed commission, but I decided to keep them as alternate forms for them instead.

I also decided to officially give Otto his name by the time I originally posted this piece. I didn't want to refer to him as "a humanoid version of my Raboot" anymore, especially since I've made them independent characters instead of alternate forms of each other.
