Heavily inspired by the old Disney Goofy cartoon, "Goofy and Wilbur..." which, to this day, I love for its adorableness. It seems to have sparked a bit of a macro/micro fascination with me recently, though (it's those close-up scenes, really...). Nothing too big, but it's there.
I kept imagining one of my characters, Didrika, being in Goofy's situation... not sure who was in Wilbur's (I guess that could be me she's holding. We look alike XP). But I'd finally gotten the confidence to sketch this out and ink and color it in at the beginning of last month. So far it's my favorite piece of 2015, heh.
