My mom is doing alright and the surgery is tomorrow, so this isn't like a real image thing or anything like that.. But her heart attack and this surgery is terrifying (apparently one of her valves has been deformed since birth and no one knew about it until, well, now).
Funny how a 2edgy5me thing from my teen years is now oddly relevant (the zipper, I mean - which I may very well get irl now due to things).
ALSO. I referenced the background from the Outlast DLC in case this looks familiar haha (totes grabbed it while watching Pewds oops).

On an artistic note, this is a really beautiful and powerful image. I feel like I'm right there next to you, waiting for whatever comes out of those doors.. And the composition really adds to the overall loneliness and fear of the unknown. It's so sad.. and yet so beautiful.
