I picked Pimple. I actually have more childhood nostalgia for the Nintendo Power hype of Battletoads more than the original game itself. A promotional comic one month, and a 36-Page blowout with comics and a full walkthrough the next! Whoa!

When I read the comics I quickly came to the decision that Pimple was my favorite 'Toad. Imagine my disappointment when I found out Pimple wasn't even playable in the game! In fact he was being held captive along with the princess and also needed to be rescued.

The SNES sequel, "Battletoads in Battlmaniacs", rectified this by having Pimple playable and Zitz has to be saved instead. What? Why even create three toads if you only let us play as two? Regardless I have more fond memories of Battlemaniacs than the original game.
