This is the Fire Shuriken ability Max has, I know what you're thinking "Total rip off of RasenShuriken from Naruto" and what makes it worse is that Max's hand-sign gesture is a dead giveaway, but I assure you there are no similarities. The Rasen Shuriken flies side ways into it's victims and then blows up on contact. The Fire Shuriken flies Vertically into it's victims and the user can choose to A incinerate their victims or B won't be as powerful as the Rasen Shuriken, but it too will be able to blow up causing minor damage to the victim.
