So, about a month or so ago, I went to a local furmeet called Paws at Pearl in Boulder, CO. I had a really great time suiting with everyone and meeting new people. Now, this particular little boy in this photo about nearly melted my heart, and is one of the reasons I love fursuiting. When I first approached this boy, he was really timid and backed away a little bit. I figured he was just going to be one of those shy kids that wanted to look, but not interact. I got down to his level and held out my paws, and he kinda poked at my claws a little, but that was it. So I moved on since I was being left behind, until we stopped to rest up before turning around and heading back to the cars. I was about to drink some water out of the bottle I had just been handed, when I felt a tapping on my leg. I look down, and it's this boy again. The lady he was with (I think may have been his grandmother) said that he had been looking for me and I was his favorite. I bent down and held out my paws again. He played with them some more, then wanted to hug me. So he did. For probably a solid 5 minutes straight. He did not want to let go of me at all. (continued in next submission)
