Here's my favourite shot... yes, the light is poor.. yes the sky is grey and yes its all a little bit dark.. but it kind of sets the mood for the picture... Not that i wont be going back some time on a nicer day - to get a much nicer photo..

This is Kenilworth Castle. It was one of the most mighty fortresses in england for a long long period of time. It has 900 years of history, from a siege in the 1200s which lasted six months, where the castle was pounded relentlessly by trebuchet - but stood firm - only starvation proved the inhabitant's undoing.. through to being the home of Robert Dudley - Queen Elizabeth I's favourite - who hosted events for the Queen at the castle four times to attempt to woo her into marriage.
