Well here it is. The hall its self. Built in the mid 1800s by a wealthy family - it was lived in as a country home by the same family until 1988 when it was then taken over by English Heritage who then set about preserving the house 'as it was left' so everything - worn carpets, junk in rooms etc - is exactly as it was... i noticed there was some marmalade dated 1987 in the pantry ^^ .... i love marmalade.. but i dont think that'd be any good any more.. it's gone black.. bleehh..
