Done as an entry for a SonTails club contest back in 2009. I like the idea that once Tails grows up, he'd have a chance to return all the support Sonic gave him through the years. Of course, first Sonic would have to admit to himself and Tails that he needs the support, which wouldn't be easy.

I'd just started using solvent markers and I liked the "pure" colors they gave, the ability to always have the exact same color on the same character in every drawing. I was still usually doing either marker shading or pencil shading, not both in the same picture. It's funny how much mind work it took me to start combining them.
