Sanoske, like Abigail, is part of an alien race of dragons that had, decades ago, been ravaged by another race, many of them being captured and converted into cyborgs as they could be made into excellent soldiers. Unlike Abby, however, Sanoske was never converted, although he was captured and prepped for conversion. That is why he has no wings, as they had been cut off. 

He had been rescued, however, and once the other race had been defeated, he, for a time, remained on his home planet. Years later, he would join the intellegence agency with a third race of beings, one his dragon race had issues with in the past, but had reconciled with amidst the 3 way war. He would then be placed on another planet with one named Keiko, as part of a long term serveilance project.

Sanoske might give the impression that he's not too bright. However it's better to say that he's simple, as he had always been before and after the war. He certainly did well enough in the intellegence agency to be given the assignment, already proving himself to be dependable despite his quirks. His diet seemingly almost entirely consists of sandwiches and cake,  and is easily amused. The bunny costume is part of his not-entirely-nessessary disguise, although it is largely for his own sake. A red dragon would be more "threatening" to others than a jovial brown rabbit. Plus it's an easier way to hide his scars and scale discoloration due to his incomplete prepping for conversion.

Him and Keiko are "married" as part of their assignment, although Sanoske treats it as if it was an actual marriage. He adores Keiko and loves poking and proding and touching her (partially due to her reactions as her race, without a special made suit, are very sensitive to physical touching from other living creatures). The two also have a "daughter", a robot named Edwena they mail ordered. And his "occupation" is manager at a gas station. It's a living, and he wanted something that would not take up too much of his time. Time spent working on his boring but mandatory reports, and his family.

Sanoske is a fair bit younger than Abby, and are of the same race, but are otherwise unrelated. However, Sanoske well knows Abby, whom was a well known figure in her 'previous life', and was also well known for her conversion. He knows Abby's location, but has decided not to report on it. Some would call her potentially dangerous, but he feels only sympathy for her and leaves her be. Sanoske has been through rough patches but he remains jovial. It could have been worse for him, and is appreciative of his current niche in life.
