Coyote Muerto by Rimpala

Coyote Muerto

While working on so many American-west themed drawings I suddently thought of an old concept I came up with long ago and decide to try it again.

Been thinking about making it a comic really, an "acid western" centered around this indigenous-Mexican coyote outlaw that fights corruption and protects a fictional border town called La Playa Blanca. His name comes from his corpse paint, the fact that he escapes death on a number of occasions, and a rumor that he's actually risen from the dead by the Apaches in exchange to being a force for good.

I dunno, it's just an idea. Personally I think he looks much better then his original incarnation, and if I have time I already have a first chapter thought out. The "acid western" genre means the story will quite often take on surreal elements, while borrowing a lot from old spaghetti western movies. He's definitely going to be anti-hero material too, he's good but I get the impression that he's not exactly nice...
