There was one night in the Bejewelled Isles, at the Nukichi Tavern & Inn on one of its most active of nights, where Yuuta, a proud mother, was bartending with her husband, and Tai, her son as well as a thieving and magical prodigy, was admiring one of his most treasured of heists, when someone bust open the door and entered in. Nine tails, worn in the most expensive of clothes that could rival even the Emperor, with a gigantic, devious grin that showed off his most infamous of qualities, his gold-clad teeth. Big Grin was here, flanked by his kitsune bodyguards holding a chilling goblet of blue flame, made from the corrupted power of magic incarnate. Tai went wide eyed as Big Grin, the target for his heist before, was approaching him ominously. Grin seeked to make an example of the difference in power between kitsune and tanuki, and who better than the tanuki who thought he robbed him without notice. At the last moment, Yuuta leapt and took the blow for him, lethally scalded both physically and magically from the abominable concoction. Grin laughed and made his way out, an example made either way. This would be where Tai's story would start, believing his mother dead, he would bear a grudge against all kitsune. Yuuta though, wasn't dead yet...
I have been wanting to draw Yuuta for the longest time, she was top on the list of things I wanted to draw for myself, but I never before decided on what would be a good design for her until I decided on this, based off her son and a need to show off her great tanuki girth, hence the dress having a belly/chest window. ;3
Yuuta's a character I play in a D&D 5e campaign, while we're on hiatus I certainly cannot wait to play as her again!
