9 years ago, I created a character that changed my life forever. You may think, how does a made up character change your life?
Well...When I created Rika, (Rica at the time), I based her off of myself. I didn't know what furries were, I just knew sonic and I loved animals. When I made her, she gave me a confidence boost. I began to act like her, and I drew her all the time. I met my best friend online, and when we met in person, that was the name she called me, so I stuck with it. I became Rika. She represents the kind of person I want to be. She gives me confidence and optimism to move forward. She is proof that I can break free from my box and become who I want to be and do what I want to do.
For 9 years she has stuck with me and I have stuck with her. She has changed just as much as I have, and she will probably keep changing as I do.
No matter how blue and how foxy she is, I will never get rid of her.
She has really changed my life for the better
