Geroo Species Sheet v3 by RickGriffin

Geroo Species Sheet v3

RickGriffin

Okay so

A few weeks ago Gre7g started pushing for more kangaroo-like geroo, and is planning on depicting them more kangaroo-like in his next novel. Since he does what he wants, we could have left it at that and just split the universe into what Gre7g does and what everyone else does, but I don't like that.

And besides, I LIKE roos and kinda always wanted the geroo to be more like full-size roos than (just) tree kangaroos, so why would I say no to that

Besides, the v2 species sheet was already outdated soon after I posted it, and over time more elements about the geroo accrued (accrooed) that didn't exactly match their initial appearance, including giving them pouches, stronger tails, and jumping (on top of the initially established trait that geroo express emotions with their ears which really makes more sense when they have big ears). I didn't really work that into the design, I didn't know how to work that in and still stay consistent with the original Skeleton Crew design.

(It also kinda bothered me that people didn't really know what kind of species they're modeled after--which was kinda funny because I'd initially just wanted them to be space kangaroos; they weren't supposed to be otherwise special!)

At the same time, the original sheet was kinda plain and uninspired. I really liked how the ringel turned out when I developed them past skinny punk raccoons, so I still want the geroo to have more to them than just being space roos, too. Hence, they keep some of their canine traits, wider color palette and coat patterns, as well as folding in the previous shorter-eared variation (along with larger ears in case you want a bat-eared geroo)
