Now, remember, I'm a big, ludicrous romantic, so don't misunderstand: losing those chapters can be devastating, and the story can feel completely dead without them.

But writing a chapter/book WITH someone is still different than your own book. Loss in all forms is hard, but your life should be more than any one person, or people.

Write and live with depth. There are already too many books left unwritten because of this misconception, so remember: the most important character in your book is YOU!
