Here's how I feel about writing a statement: it's not about me, it's about keeping it from happening to someone else. Regardless of whether or not definitive action is taken - to my awareness or otherwise - there IS at least a track record formed.

There's not a single person I worked with that I'd say, "Yea, I wouldn't mind if this happened to them 'cause I never spoke up," so that's my driving force.

Also, if you find yourself in a predicament that you feel deserves attention? Get on it ASAP, while it's fresh and you remember the most.

Then laugh like an escapee.
