I believe in music. Some people pray; I turn up the volume.

This is a part of me I've wanted to illustrate for a long time, but it's been hard to envision until now. I'm not a religious person, but when asked which one I aspire to, I find my head usually quips, "Music is my religion".

To me, each song is a psalm, each ballad a prayer, each musician a preacher. Some are poignant, some shallow; some revered, some are jokes. There are some songs I could listen to ad nauseam, some only when the moment arises, and some I won't give another thought to past the first listen.

So every time I put my ear-buds in, I feel like I'm going to a sermon.
