I sometimes like to see what the skeletal structure of a character is when I'm creating. I hadn't really referenced many lizard skulls before now but I thought it would probably help to do so.
This may go through various iterations while I get a feel for the design and find what "feels right." But the general idea is there.
I do think I want to keep the big, bold eyebrow ridge look but I'm not sure if I should make them skin and muscle or if I should maybe toss in some larger scales there to help maintain that shape and give it some realism.
