The Belizean tour guide showed us tourists a picture of the chaya leaves, which are also known as the Mexican tree spinach, in their raw form on her cellphone. Her people cook them in her country. Also, DO NOT EAT THESE LEAVES RAW AS THEY ARE TOXIC LIKE THIS!
