So yesterday morning before I left home for another cruise vacation, I was following this recipe from the "Preserving the Past" Moravian book, which is an archive of things written in the past, including recipes. The one for this called for 2 pints of milk, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, and enough flour to make a pound cake. But I used half the ingredients, because I didn't want to use up a lot of the flour I had and this was the result. I didn't bother to eat it. I wonder if I should've used more flour and/or another egg.
