I made this today using Adams Media's Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook. Like my previous Irish soda bread, this one had no raisins either. The X mark here came out better than last time. The taste is also still fine; it doesn't seem that much different from a normal bread. The cookbook says it tastes best on the day made. I'm going to see how it tastes when I toast it tomorrow.
