Damn, this story went longer than usual trying to find the right place to end it. Now about Kai knowing Nick's name without him mentioning it. I have no idea how they knew about it, but my theory (or at least canon in this AU) is that Kai ate the soul of someone who knew Nick either before the events of the RP or this second encounter with Kai.

Facts that may not be mentioned later

• Akuma doesn't like sharing his weakness with others.
• It has really been a long time since Akuma had gotten a hug. His first hug was from Dion after Albel destroyed the lab.
• Akuma isn't one to express feelings and doesn't like to respond to social interaction, or rather affectionate interaction.
• The two dragons outside the window are Shiba and Kakoli.
