This was a commission for DaftPon3 (http://daftpon3.deviantart.com) of his OC.

The description I was given is: "he's an experimental electronic musician from Canterlot. His music remains mostly underground but has got the attention of many big name producers and DJs. He's a very intelligent pony but doesn't take himself to seriously, but he's not really a party animal either. He's really only ever referred to by his stage name, Pon-Ɛ."

Other than that, I was given free reign, so this is what I came up with. The keyboard and headset was my idea, but once I showed him the pencil drawing, he requested that the keyboard look like his own keyboard and provided a few reference images. It's not exact, but hopefully it's at least recognizable =P

Also, my first attempt at depicting unicorn magic (unless you count the princess ones where I just didn't what looked cool to me at the time and didn't really try to go for show accuracy).
