I ran into the forest carrying the artifact, I knew what it would do if I activated it, but if i did not, it would eventually do so on its own, and would certainty do so if tried to discard it. I had seen what it did to others, and eventually everyone.

I stopped in a secluded spot, removing everything except my shirt and undergarments, nervously looking at the green lens. I worried to myself what it would change me into. Knowing my luck, probably something small.

“Great, I’ll probably be even tinier then I already am.......here it goes”

As I reached to touch it, the lens lit up, causing me to drop it. I wanted to run, but the all familiar green energy erupted out of it before I could react, surrounding me, and then into my body.

The change came so rapidly that I did not have time to prepare for it. I fell on all fours as my body grew and changed, waving my powerful tail as it freed itself, the tight clothing stretching and tearing its way off of me. I panted and gasped, it felt amazing. I knew I had a long way to grow, and it was not showing any signs of stopping.

In the distance I could hear something calling out to me.....one that I would follow when this was complete.
