Basically a dream demon that feeds on fear and negative emotions. He starts with one victim, then uses the power acquired from their fear to put other victims into a dream state where they remain trapped in a horrible nightmare. He can remotely drain energy from said victims to grow even more powerful, but does not kill them.

Eventually, he can gain enough power to start manipulating reality itself, and the people or creatures in it. Often corrupting and changing those who are not trapped in the sleep state into dark and terrifying creatures.

The only way to destroy him is kill the victims he is feeding off of and banishment, or pierce his heart with a certian lost artifact known as the sun shard, which can harness the sun. Sunlight alone will only weaken him. If destroyed everything he has done with the exception of those killed will revert.
