Microfurries have a few perks — for instance, the gifts come a whole lot bigger.

I'm getting into the spirit of the season here with this festive picture starring Zen! This piece was highly experimental in both style and execution: it was made to be a little more abstract than my usual work, and the whole thing is vector. Most of my vector art is used for graphic design projects, but I thought that I'd give vector painting and illustration a shot. The cool thing about that is that the picture can be resized freely without losing quality — everything from Zen-sized to poster and beyond. I chipped away at it over the course of a week, and the end result is 2742 objects organized across 30 layers in various blend modes. I enjoyed it, but I'm glad to finally be done, haha.
