This culminated a year-and-a-bit of art practice, wherein I refined my drawing style, migrated from Photoshop to Clip Studio Paint, and reinvented my painting process. The whole journey was largely experimental, but yielding nice results. I didn't even touch colour for months, and when I did, it took a lot of playing around to find a comfortable methodology. Beyond just rendering things nicer, I tried to add more interesting lighting to my work, and also increase the colour saturation.
