My old summary from 2012 makes me cringe. This one I like a lot more.

As I combed through my files and looked for a piece from each month, I couldn't help but realize how slow the start of this year was art-wise for me. It was my last year being in school, so that's a part of it, but I really didn't pick up and do a lot until close to the end. By the time I got passed June, I had several things I did that I really liked and had trouble choosing just one image I was proud of, so for September and December there are two. XP

A lot more happened to me this year than I thought. I loved, I lost, I grew, I explored... I started to learn German, and practice every day, I learned new techniques and explored my style (which is still a work in progress/non-existent), my niece turned 1 and my brother is expecting another baby, my grandma got sick, we cleaned out her apartment, and I met some amazing new people and had one of the best convention experiences of my life. What a year it has been. I hope next year brings more joy and adventure, thank you all for being a part of my life.
