The dungeon of the mad dwarf

rainkaimaramon

The sixth layer. Cold, damp. Unlike the other layers above which were filled with dust, dry air, silent. This was different, there was constant noise, the entire chamber vibrated in strange rhythms.

The half Orc elf girl was still with the group, healing their owns after the silver dragon battle. Traveling few feet to inspect the pillars, adorned with statues depicting women of various races in bondage. Gasping she realized the noise was breathing, these statues were alive, under a horrific spell. The Dwarfs are a cruel race. That was when the skeletons appeared, moving towards her and the knight of the group.

The skeletons wants to add the women to the pillar collection.

This scene was taken from a home brewed RPG session.

Weird thing about age. When I was younger I hated, that is all caps and spelled out hated, fantasy. I hated the standard of pony and daggers, highest magic was a Hadoken only one old fart wizard can perform every six months and I loath the medieval setting.

I changed my tune when I found 80's OVA fantasy anime a long time ago. This was when Sci fi ran Saturday anime with things like Lodoss War, Those who hunt elves, Rune soldier. I loved it, and years later I found fantasy hentai.

The best kind of high fantasy there is.

I'm still turned off by a lot of Western fantasy series, even Harry Potter, for personal reasons. Mainly much of them won't let go of that stinginess with magic being for everyone or explosively cool. Also they seem to have a pretty solid, set in stone rule about everything. Elfs are holy immortals, orcs savages, dwarfs make shit, humans are the balanced ones. One would think somebody would at least change things around, just to spice things up.

And fantasy apostrophes. I HATE THEM.
