lol, I never do fanart, so here's something new to my gallery.

Admittedly, I've loved Pokemon since when it came out in the 90's. After 2000 or so, I quit following it for the longest time until the recent release of X and Y. I then decided to watch the first few seasons and every movie for some good old nostalgia. In honor of that, I decided to sculpt (for practice) my favorite Pokemon since childhood - Mewtwo....

Only done my way :) A terrifying version that destroys childhoods.

My intention was to really make him look like an experiment, playing up the genetic look and idea. Originally, The entire stand was going to be the tube that he was "raised" in - looking like he just came out with wires and glass on the base. However... I am currently using an old version of Zbrush on my macbook (4) instead of the new Zbrush 4R6. With a high poly sculpt, there is a way to dynamesh and still have the detail in 4r6 - but in the old version Dynamesh doesn't exist so I was faced with serious lagging issues :( That and some of the other stuff that I could do in the new version, I couldn't do on the older one. I wanted to do more, but the issues didn't allow it. (And if any of you are familiar with Zbrush 4 and know hoe to resolve this - please tell me. Oh well, Mewtwo was pretty much practice to see what I could and could not do in the older version.
