DAY 20 OF OC-TOBER: Emily Roads

Young maiden, forgive me.

It is through my irresponsibility that our paths crossed, a taboo on my part, and that eventually led to your untimely death. You intended to help, with naive curiosity, except you venture too far and gazed into weave of threads you were not meant to see. To bare witness of the hundreds of thousands of alternative timelines based on crucial changes. Of your own, your family’s, and everyone you have known – including the royalty, corrupted in their inbred madness. You thought you could use this knowledge for better change. Unfortunately it only brought you to an early end as your eyes were pierce through. Blinded to forget what you ever saw. As your body will then slowly rot in your grave, you will eventually forget your own name if you were to be awaken again. I pray that can be considered an equivalent exchange in order to live a more deserving life than the one before.
