Emily (a name given to her by Ricky) was born in Medieval England, the only daughter to a family of knights that served royalty. Beyond that, and remembering she can sew, Emily does not remember much of anything from her past. Only that she somehow befriended a Dimension Stitcher by the name of Stitchworks who granted her a second chance in life when the time was right. Though, Ricky digging up her grave site was something Stitchworks did not foresee.

Still, however questionable, Ricky and Emily clicked with each other, and they spent an indefinite amount of time together in their plane of existence. Slowly with new additions being added to the family over the years that brought happiness to Emily and slight annoyance to Ricky.

Both Satinka and Emily both experience memory loss, though where Satinka experience a specific event being blotched out Emily can only recall small pieces of a huge puzzle broken apart. However, while Satinka felt whatever was lost caused some distance between her and her twin brother, Kiyoshi, Emily felt no need to learn about her past. It’s in the past. Family she cannot even recall their names of are no longer alive. So why worry? She’s here with her husband and son, in their own paradise, now growing more beautiful than ever with seasons starting to show, and most importantly, there’s no pain – there’s no suffering. She’s content here. Why change that? Why allow something so incredible be tainted with the possibility of awakening trauma? She does not need that.

Through Emily’s contentment, she, unfortunately, went oblivious to her son suffering from neglect by her husband, and how his words left a mark. It wasn’t until much later, when Micah, her newly found son, pointed this out, and caused her to fully awaken from ignorance.
