Rabbit Knight by Radical-Alex

Rabbit Knight

Radical-Alex

That’s what Kiyoshi called his puppet show. It was about a young but courageous rabbit fighting monsters to protect his mother and sister. Rabbit Knight was amazing: he was fearless, he was strong, and he was unbeatable – he was everything that Kiyoshi wasn’t when he was alive. His twin sister, Satinka, always fought to defend him while his mother always took the smack from his stepfather to protect him. He could never do anything good for his family like Rabbit Knight. It was nothing more than a show held in secrecy for his mother and sister. A make believe. A fantasy.

That went up in flames when his stepfather took away his puppets and lectured him in a disgruntled voice about having “dolls”. Kiyoshi watched as his wish fulfillment went up in smoke Rabbit Knight and his family burned in the fireplace. It reminded him once more that he was weak, he was defenseless, and he was pathetic. He was nothing like Rabbit Knight. He couldn’t save his rabbit family that his mother helped him make. He couldn’t even protect his own sister when she needed him most.

That all changed after Kiyoshi was brought back as an undead. He’s a knight to a red prince in need of his constant protection. He has abilities that he once thought was only achieved through dreams. He stood equally alongside his twin instead of being the weak one behind her. He can finally be like Rabbit Knight.

But failure still lingered in his heart.
