He greeted her with a crown of pink roses. She sense his smile as he says, “Now you’re a princess!”

Of course, Flower Girl, a name the red child called her, could not hear him, she’s not able to, but she felt the vibration that spelt out those words to her. She nodded her thanks. He sat down next to her for the entire evening as he worked on a flower crown and he taught her: how to entwined and to keep a secured knot. The child was not foolish, he learned that she cannot hear him, and yet, he had known, in some way, that she could. With patience in his voice he continued to explain.

After he left, Flower Girl took his lessons to heart as she started to craft a crown made of flowers that’s as red as his jacket.
