Kiyoshi was killed late December 1941. He was resurrected by Satan, his soul, along with his sister’s, was taken to place into Flower Girl / Florence for safekeeping, and he was given his position to become Keras’ protector once the younger reaper found him and his sister. When Kiyoshi was alive, he was very creative, and he had interest in shadow play / puppets to tell a story. This transition into his undead form where he uses his mind to develop invisible barriers and weapons.

Due to the traumatic experience he witness his sister went through, Kiyoshi does not speak. He uses sign language to communicate. Anything more advance, Satinka, his sister, can read his thoughts and then explain it to the team. Though, this is slightly complicated, as he blocks out the scene in his hard so his sister doesn’t see it – for her own safety.
