A skunky scientist engineers a harmless nanite virus with a not diabolical intent. Seriously. As the virus runs its course however, the nanites experience difficulties logging and generating meaningful results for the experiment. The miniature machines in turn come up with a rather 'unique' solution for those issues, giving rise to some HUGE side effects in the process. Hint hint nudge nudge.

So, this was one of my first stabs at taking a more... scientific approach to my general growy shenanigans? An experiment of sorts. I spent a great deal of effort trying to make the totally cough unexpected cough growth remotely plausible and hopefully easy enough to follow. I didn't quite nail down the suspension of disbelief, since there are some embarrassing plot holes now that I look back on it. Ah well, live and learn. I'm a little worried that all the emphasis on explaining how the growth comes about might detract from the story and it make a dry/boring read, but we'll see.
