Bit O Bio
As a child Chrys was your normal happy-go-lucky innocent little cub. Her parents were normal and loving, and there for her. No real tragedy befell her family until sometime after she turned 15. An accident occurred where she fell out of a tree while playing and she suffered a head injury that put her into a temporary coma. Unfortunately for her, during this coma she was struck with AIED and unbeknownst to all she suffered for months, trapped in her own body as her hearing rapidly depleted. By the time she awoke from her coma, her ability to hear was gone. The family took this hard, but were highly supportive, even going so far to avidly learn sign language so that they could still communicate with their daughter to the best of their ability. Her parents always kept their hope alive for their little girl that she would still lead a normal life, or as normal as she could. The one who took it the hardest was Chrys herself. No longer was she able to hear anything. Her own voice, the voice of her parents; her mother's bell-like life and her father's robust country twang. She couldn't hear the sound of birds singing or hear the sound of the wind brushing the tall grasses or the rustle of the leaves. And probably worst of all, she would never again be able to hear music. She's taken up gardening as it helps to soothe her aching heart. Plants don't talk yo. They are easy to deal with for someone who can't hear. Plus she finds their visual beauty or sheer tenacity to grow in places that shouldn't be possible to be inspiring.
