Harvey Carbio is a Freshman at Elmore High, he moved to Elmore from a town in the far north, his parents said they wanted a "fresh new start in a fresh new town". Harvey is your standard new kid who likes to keep to himself and sits at the back of the classroom; refusing to raise his hand to answer questions but always bringing his homework in on time.

His top classes are math and creative writing, Harvey has a talent for writing the most romantic stories that anyone has ever read. He has an almost sage-like knowledge of the emotional and chemical components of love.

This is because Harvey actually feeds off of love, he's something called a "Love Gremlin", a race of monster people who feed on the happy emotions of others. There is nothing dangerous about it though, Love Gremlins are friendly and gentle people, their feeding has no draining effects on the feedee.

Harvey only feeds on love when he has literally nothing else to eat and is hungry beyond belief, he can eat normal food just fine, honestly...love is more like a sweet snack than an actual meal.

His shyness and tendency to blend into the crowd (even with his bright clothing) makes feeding on the lovey dovey couples at Elmore the easiest task in the world.
