Heavy and Weary by QuentixStarwing

Heavy and Weary

Another inch, one more step
Place to catch me while I rest
Barren soles that leave me dry
When I am hindered, one wonders why
Never such is the place that sits
When burrowing weights find my peace
Never has one thing been
Like a chain around the neck
Where the noose will find its check
A record of blanch feeling becomes a set
Like a macabre record always spinning
The weight grows forceful
It is heavy
One becomes weary
With a final impact one is laid to rest.

Heavy and Weary

While seeking the path clearest through life one will find a path wrought with many a threat and danger. The worst kinds are the ones that break up into fragments and anchor onto a person. If anything that could lead to the last, one suffers upon contact and perhaps just that one extra impact may bring a quiet end to the one who is overwhelmed.

Not a message of despair, but one of caution. A tale that is none too forgiving at times.

Enjoy.
