Like a Grimoire by QuentixStarwing

Like a Grimoire

Part personal and part something to share
This is what lay within the snare of reading
To see the ancient penmanship against ancient script
That written language begging to be deciphered
Against ancient papyrus, secrets are hidden
Betwixt a signature writ that may have been humor
Perhaps horror or melanchony notes
Each word is a greater mystery than the last
All before the point of written
Such a thing stands on its own.

As if words themselves were not enough, pictures become embedded
Sparking a contraversy while ignoring the portion of life
In part breakdown over the small rites engaged in
By portion and taken on the segment of heart and laying it bare
Letting the other show itself what perils do await someone in focus
Partial and potent gains, wondrous focus and part of these have taken
They are all but loss and passion taken by part in loss.

All for a lack or loss of words, its just like a grimoire.

This was quite a little tale for me to get out, not really sure what the aim was for my piece. But as confusing as it was, it was also very necessary! Please enjoy.
