I rarely submit traditional art because I always find them ... I don't know ... not ugly but too imperfect for me. Like the eyes of the Casper here, or some lines who are shaky ... But this one have a special importance for me.

It's the cover page of a new sketch book all about the garden ( Jardin in french ) and it's represent Casper, my little boy, died on the last days of summer. He was our guardian of the garden, walking around on the wood squares, never in the earth where the veggies grow, patrolling everyday and keeping birds and rodents away but never attacking them. On 3 cats, he was the only one going outside, we just can't keep it inside, he was an outside cat and became depress indoor... I found him in October 31th 2011, he was our little Halloween ghost. I can't say it's a big hole inside but outside ... don't seeing him around, always coming for me when I walk around the house like you can see in my photography.

Because he was so important for us, we decide to rename the vegetable garden the Garden of Casper and I will make a real size sculpture of him for the entrance.

I found Dusty some time after Casper's dead and he's a big fluffy teddy bear but when I'm outside, I still have water in my eyes and searching for the "Spirit of the Garden".
