Based on a photo I took recently on a birding trip, this guy was just so perfectly posed it made for a dynamic piece. BCNH are some of the most exciting birds to see around here imo, they're not exactly rare but being nocturnal and usually confined to wetland areas it can be hard to get a good look at them. We were super lucky to see this guy in the middle of the day!
