Symone: A zoologist from Terrace Village and Lyle's stepdaughter. An outcast among her fellow Beast Makers due to her desire to study creatures rather than just create them, she possesses a morbid sense of humor and cynicism that others tend to find off-putting and belie a kinder side.

Ertha: Resident doctor, Bruno's wife, Jed's older sister, and Sadiki's stepmother. A woman not afraid to speak her mind, she sees all the younger Beast Makers as her children and takes great joy in teasing others, especially Bruno.
