This actually started out as another picture entirely, just with Thalanil as a test for a new way of doing fur and shading and shading fur

Also that tear at the very bottom. Every time I look at it...I can only see a little white gemstone. And for the life of me I don't know why I see that, but now that I've said it I bet others are going to see it too.
Also.
Them glowy silver and gold blotches.
Those are the ends of Lifescrolls, where they're piled up against one another in the rows on the walls. They make me think of solar and lunar eclipses.
And they give the lighting a nice candle effect, so I'm not complaining about that, I like candlelight(never drawn it before, but I like it in real life)
