A Dangerous Roo...

"What's her angle?" your friend asked, interest aroused by the kangaroo-like creature across the smoky casino hall.

Talking kangaroos were common on this island. An oddity around the world, but this island resort somewhat relished in it's biologically 'enhanced' marsupial populace. It was called "Kangaroo Island Resort" for a reason.
But where those other animals would show a modicum of decency, even comically so with three-legged pants and pouch bikinis, this one was bluntly and blatantly nude, except for gloves. Her bare pouch was exposed, the opening heaving with hot firey breaths. It looked like a hellish pink cavern that stretched forever.

And she wouldn't stop staring at the two of you, the bead atop her feather was like a third eye, glinting and shining brighter under the casino lights, calling to you.
"I'm going to go talk to her..." your friend said, suddenly leaving the blackjack table mid-game.

At first, you were in shock. He left all his chips behind. You tried to protect his hand and money, but the male marsupial croupier interrupted. "Don't bother. His credit is no longer good..."
You turned to ask what he meant, but he cut you off again. "Just don't go near her; she's a bad time... you don't want to know what she does after she's milked your wallet dry." He eyed back toward the Flapper Roo. You turned, only to find that she and your friend already disappeared into the crowd.

You wanted to get up, but you were nervous to leave the game behind. He slid your friend's chips in front of you. "Enjoy. On the house..."
You let it go, at least for today. Your friend still hadn't returned from last night, and you were beginning to worry by morning.

The next day, you started playing with his chips, trying not to think about if he'd come back.
Hours later, you saw the Flapper Roo again, distant firey eyes staring at you. She had another odd lump on her chest. She seemed heavier, but only slightly. And she wouldn't stop staring at you. Her smile seemed unnatural.

"What's her angle?" you whispered to the woman next to you. She ignored your question.
The roo's eyes still on you, you started staring at her pouch. You noticed movements. Motions. Churning. Then, a hand pushing within the folds. Your heart jumped with dread. Could it be?
"I... need to talk to her!" you exclaimed, rushing away from the game. The croupier started muttering the same warnings again to someone else; it was too late for you...

More world building at the Kangaroo Island Resort and Casino...

Also an excuse to do some coloring and doodles.
